Mental health can be emotional or psychological. There are many ways individuals can be affected such as how we act, think and feel. Mental health awareness has been highlighted and given us all something to think about. With recent events from the COVID-19, the taboo subject of mental health has been covered extensively by the media and provided platforms for the topic to be openly discussed.
Mental health shows itself in different ways, and certainly doesn’t discriminate. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’re from or what you do – nobody is immune from suffering with mental health. Within the workplace you’ll come to head to head with deadlines, busy periods, stressful situations or all of the above. Additional pressure seems daunting, but with some help and guidance there are ways to look after yourself in the working environment.
